If you are starting from the Bakau Fish Market, head south on the main road (Albert Street) towards the coast. Continue walking until you reach the Coastal Road. Turn left onto Coastal Road and follow it for about 2.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the Tanji Bird Reserve signs on your left side.

From Bakau Market, rent a bicycle and head south along the main road (Albert Street). After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Coastal Road. Continue cycling for approximately 2 kilometers. The Tanji Bird Reserve will be on your left, marked by a sign. Ensure you ride safely and be aware of pedestrians and local traffic.
