From the center of Brikama, head north toward the main road (Banjul - Brikama Highway). Walk along the main road until you reach the junction with the road leading to Bijilo. This should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Follow signs for Bijilo, continuing straight until you reach the entrance to Bijilo Beach. The beach is located about 2.5 kilometers from the main highway.

If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, you can rent one in Brikama. Start by heading north to the main road (Banjul - Brikama Highway) and then make a right turn toward Bijilo. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed. Follow the road until you see signs for Bijilo Beach, which will lead you directly to the beach entrance.

From Brikama, you can take a bush taxi heading toward Banjul. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Bijilo. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bijilo area, walk towards the beach by following the signs or asking locals for directions. The beach is a short walk from the main road.
