Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Gunjur, where the main market is located. Head north towards the beach road, which is known as the Gunjur Beach Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction, turn left and continue walking on the road for another 2 kilometers. You will pass several small shops and local vendors along the way. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see signs for Bakau pointing to your right. Turn right and continue for about 500 meters. The Kachikally Crocodile Pool will be on your left, easily recognizable by its entrance sign and the surrounding greenery.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Gunjur market and head north towards Gunjur Beach Road. Cycle straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the T-junction. Turn left at the T-junction and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. Watch for signs directing you to Bakau, and turn right when you see them. Continue cycling for about 500 meters, and you will find the Kachikally Crocodile Pool on your left.

Public Transport
To reach Kachikally Crocodile Pool using public transport, locate the nearest 'bush taxi' station in Gunjur, typically found near the market area. Board a bush taxi heading towards Bakau. The fare is usually affordable, and the journey will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Bakau, ask the driver to drop you off near the Kachikally Crocodile Pool or simply follow the main road on foot for about 10 minutes. The entrance will be on your left.
