    If you are driving from Kanifing to Fort Bullen, start by heading north on the main road, Kairaba Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Banjul Highway. Take a left turn onto the Banjul Highway and follow the signs towards Barra. After approximately 30 km, you will arrive at the ferry terminal in Banjul. From there, park your car and take the ferry to Barra. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around 25 Dalasi per person. Once you reach Barra, you can either walk or take a taxi to Fort Bullen, which is located about 3 km from the ferry terminal.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Fort Bullen using public transportation, start by taking a 'Gele-Gele' (shared taxi) from Kanifing to Banjul. The fare is approximately 15 Dalasi. Once in Banjul, make your way to the ferry terminal and purchase a ticket to Barra, which costs about 25 Dalasi. After the ferry ride, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to Fort Bullen, which is about 3 km from the Barra ferry terminal.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Kanifing to take you to Fort Bullen.
