    Car

    From Kantora, start by heading northwest on the main road towards Brikama. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Brikama. Once in Brikama, follow the signs towards Lamin. After about 10 minutes of driving, you will see the entrance to Abuko Nature Reserve on your left side, just off Brikama Highway. Be aware of local traffic rules, and ensure you have enough fuel for your journey.

    Public Transportation - Bush Taxi

    To reach Abuko Nature Reserve from Kantora using public transportation, you can take a bush taxi (shared minivan) from Kantora to Brikama. Head to the nearest bush taxi station in Kantora and inquire about a ride to Brikama. The fare is typically around 20-30 Dalasi. Upon arrival in Brikama, you can catch another bush taxi heading to Lamin. After approximately 10 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off near the entrance of Abuko Nature Reserve on Brikama Highway.

    Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and are already in Lamin, you can walk to Abuko Nature Reserve. From the center of Lamin, head towards Brikama Highway. Once you reach the highway, turn left and walk approximately 1 kilometer. The entrance to Abuko Nature Reserve will be on your left. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes, carry water, and be mindful of traffic as you walk along the highway.
