Car
From any location in Kombo East, head towards the main road leading out of the city. If you're near the coastal areas, use the Coastal Road (Banjul – Serrekunda Road) and drive east. Continue driving until you reach the junction at Kuloro. Turn left onto the road leading to Kuloro. Follow the road straight for about 10 minutes until you see signs for Farasutu Forest. The forest is located at the coordinates 13.2986° N, 16.5640° W. There is usually no entrance fee, but check for any updates on costs prior to your visit.

Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)
To reach Farasutu Forest via public transport, find a bush taxi (shared taxi) that is heading to Kuloro. These can be found at various taxi stands throughout Kombo East. Once you board the taxi, inform the driver that you wish to get off at Kuloro. The ride should take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. After you arrive in Kuloro, you may need to walk or take a local motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to reach the entrance of Farasutu Forest, which is approximately 5-10 minutes away. The cost for the bush taxi is usually around D10-20, and the motorcycle taxi should not exceed D50.
