Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Lamin Lodge, exit the lodge and head south towards the main road. Turn left onto the road and continue walking straight for about 1.5 to 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Banjul Highway. At the junction, turn right and follow the road for another 1 kilometer. Look for the sign pointing towards Bakau on your left. Follow this road, which will lead you directly to Bakau. As you get closer, you will see signs for Kachikally Crocodile Pool. The entrance will be on your right.

Bicycle
From Lamin, rent a bicycle and head towards the main road. Cycle south for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Banjul Highway intersection. Turn right onto the highway and continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the sign for Bakau on your left and follow that road. This will take you directly to the Kachikally Crocodile Pool, which will be on your right as you approach Bakau.

Public Transport (Kekeh)
To reach Kachikally Crocodile Pool using public transport, walk to the nearest Kekeh (a local shared taxi) stand in Lamin. Board a Kekeh heading towards Bakau. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Kachikally Crocodile Pool or near the entrance. Once you get off, the entrance will be a short walk ahead on your right.
