From Niamina Dankunku, head southeast on the main road towards the village of Bafuloto. Continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers. As you approach Bafuloto, look for the sign indicating Makasutu National Park. Turn left onto the road marked with the coordinates 896M+6HC. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Makasutu. Ensure you have some local currency (Dalasi) to pay the entrance fee, which is typically around 100 Dalasi per person.

Start by taking a shared taxi or 'Gele-Gele' from Niamina Dankunku to the nearest town with bus services, which is often Banjul or Serrekunda. The fare is usually around 50 Dalasi. Once you reach Banjul, head to the bus station and look for a bus heading towards Bafuloto. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes and costs around 30 Dalasi. When you arrive in Bafuloto, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to Makasutu National Park. The taxi fare in Bafuloto should be around 20-30 Dalasi.
