    From Sami, head southeast on the main road towards the Brikama Highway (Brikama Hwy). Continue driving for approximately 12 km. You'll pass through the outskirts of Brikama. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Abuko Nature Reserve, which is located just off the Brikama Highway. Turn left onto the entrance road and follow the signs to the reserve's main entrance. Parking is available at the entrance.

    To reach Abuko Nature Reserve by public transport, you can take a shared taxi (also known as a 'Gelly Gelly') from Sami to Brikama. Shared taxis usually run frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive in Brikama, transfer to another taxi heading towards Lamin. Inform the driver that you want to go to Abuko Nature Reserve, and they will drop you off near the entrance. Be prepared to pay a small fare for each leg of your journey, which typically ranges from 50 to 100 Dalasi.
