Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Soma, head west on the main road (Soma-Janjanbureh Highway). Walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction at the market area. At the junction, turn right onto the road heading towards Darusalam. Continue straight for approximately 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Belel Forest Park. As you approach, the environment will start to change, with trees becoming more prominent. The park entrance will be on your left side, marked by a sign that reads 'Belel Forest Park'.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Soma and cycle west on the Soma-Janjanbureh Highway. It's about a 1.5-kilometer ride to the market junction. Here, turn right onto the Darusalam road. Continue cycling straight for about 3 kilometers. You will notice the transition to a more natural setting as you approach the park. Look for the entrance on your left, which will be clearly marked with a sign for Belel Forest Park.

• Motorbike Taxi (Boda-Boda)

  In Soma, you can hire a motorbike taxi, commonly known as a Boda-Boda. Let the driver know you want to go to Belel Forest Park. The driver will take you west on the Soma-Janjanbureh Highway, where you will pass the market area. After about 4.5 kilometers, they will turn onto the road leading to Darusalam. The park entrance is on the left side, marked with a sign. Ensure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
