From the center of Soma, head towards the main road (Banjul-Soma Highway). Walk eastward along this road until you reach the junction that leads to the village of Dumbutu. It is approximately a 30-minute walk. Once you reach the junction, turn left and continue walking straight for about 3 kilometers until you arrive at Dumbutu. Keep an eye out for local signs that might direct you towards Faba Forest Park.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can follow the same route as walking. Start from the center of Soma, ride towards the Banjul-Soma Highway, and head east. The journey will be quicker, taking about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the junction for Dumbutu, turn left and cycle straight for about 3 kilometers. This route will lead you directly into the village.

Local Transport (Kekeh or Motorbike Taxi)
You can hire a local kekeh (a form of motorized tricycle) or a motorbike taxi from anywhere in Soma. Simply tell the driver that you want to go to Faba Forest Park in Dumbutu. They will take you along the main road until you reach the junction for Dumbutu. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Once you are close to Dumbutu, ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the park, as they are generally familiar with the area.
