Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Serrekunda. Head west on Kairaba Avenue and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. Keep an eye on the signs, as you will cross a roundabout. After the roundabout, take the first exit onto the road leading towards Kotu. Follow this road until you reach Kotu Stream, which will be on your left. Parking is generally available along the roadside near the stream.

Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)

To reach Kotu Stream using public transportation, locate a bush taxi (shared minibus) heading toward Kotu. These can be found at various taxi stands in Serrekunda. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to go to Kotu Stream. The fare is usually around 25 Dalasi. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off near the stream, as they are familiar with the area.

Walking

If you are already in the Kotu area, walking is a great option. From Kotu Beach, head inland towards the residential area. Follow the local roads leading into Serrekunda. As you walk, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Kotu Stream, which is located approximately 1 kilometer from the beach. It should take you about 15 minutes on foot.
