Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the town of Brikama. From Brikama, take the Banjul-Serrekunda Highway (A1) towards the town of Kafuta. Continue on the A1 until you reach the intersection with the road to Tendaba. Turn left onto the road leading to Tendaba, which is well-marked. Follow this road for about 20 kilometers. You will pass through scenic countryside and possibly see local wildlife. Tendaba Camp will be located at the coordinates C5QR+J98. Look for signs indicating the camp as you approach.
Public Transportation
To reach Tendaba by public transportation, start by taking a bush taxi or a minibus from any major town in the Western Region, such as Brikama. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Tendaba, which is about 20 kilometers from the main road. The fare should be around 25-50 Dalasi depending on the distance and crowding. Once you reach the junction, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a motorbike taxi to take you the remaining distance to Tendaba Camp. Expect to pay an additional 100-150 Dalasi for this short ride. Make sure to confirm the price beforehand.
