Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Cova Lima, head northwest on Avenida de Cova Lima towards Rua de Oecusse. After about 1.5 km, turn left onto the road leading towards Bobonaro. Continue on this road for approximately 25 km until you reach the Bobonaro region. Look for signs directing you to Marobo Hot Spring, which is located at the coordinates 2877+7J7 in Bobonaro. The journey will take around 40-50 minutes depending on road conditions. Note that parking is available near the hot springs.

• Public Transportation

  Start at the main bus terminal in Cova Lima. Look for any bus heading towards Bobonaro, which may be labeled as heading to 'Bobonaro' or 'Maliana.' The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Bobonaro, ask locals for directions to Marobo Hot Spring, which is approximately 5 km from the bus terminal. You may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (locally known as 'ojek') for about $2-3 to reach the hot springs from the bus stop.

• Motorcycle Taxi

  If you are already in Bobonaro, you can easily find motorcycle taxis that can take you to Marobo Hot Spring. Negotiate the fare before you start the ride; it should cost around $2-3. The hot springs are about 5 km from the center of Bobonaro, and the ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
