Getting There

Walking
From the center of Atakpamé, head north towards the main road (Route Nationale 1). Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue walking for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction to Likpe Bakwa. Look for signs that indicate the direction to Likpe Bakwa. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for local markers or ask locals for directions as you go. After about 5 kilometers, you should arrive at the village of Likpe Bakwa. From there, ask for directions to 'cascade de Yikpa', as it is a well-known location. You may need to walk a short distance further into the village where you will find the path leading to the waterfall.

Public Transport (Moto-taxi)
Start at the main market in Atakpamé, where you can find moto-taxis (motorcycle taxis). Take a moto-taxi heading towards Likpe Bakwa. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to communicate with the driver about your destination, 'cascade de Yikpa'. They are familiar with the area and can drop you off close to the trailhead that leads to the waterfall. From the drop-off point, you may have to walk a short distance, but signs or locals will guide you to the waterfall.
