If you are traveling by car within the Plateaux Region, start by heading towards the town of Atakpamé. From Atakpamé, take the N1 road northbound. After approximately 20 kilometers, look for signs pointing towards Malfakassa. Turn onto the local road leading to Malfakassa. The last stretch may be unpaved, so proceed with caution. Make sure to have a GPS or a map handy for navigation.

Public Transportation (Taxi-Brousse)
To reach Malfakassa using public transportation, find a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) heading towards Atakpamé at the main transport hub in your current location. The fare should be around 1,000 to 2,000 CFA francs depending on the starting point. Once you arrive in Atakpamé, you will need to transfer to another taxi-brousse that goes towards the village closest to Malfakassa. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Malfakassa. From there, you may need to walk or arrange a motorcycle taxi to reach the mountain peak. Be prepared for an additional fare for this last leg.
