If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the capital city, Lomé. Head north on the N1 road toward the Plateaux Region. After approximately 160 km, take the exit toward Kpalimé. Continue on the N1 until you reach Kpalimé, which is about 30 km. From Kpalimé, follow signs for the D6 road towards Sara Kawa. Keep an eye out for local signs indicating Parc Sarakawa. The park is located about 15 km from Kpalimé, and you should follow local roads leading to Sara Kawa. Ensure your vehicle is fueled up as gas stations may be scarce in rural areas.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, begin at the central bus station in Lomé. Look for a bus or shared taxi heading north to Kpalimé. The fare is usually around 2,500 to 4,000 CFA francs, depending on the vehicle and the time of day. The journey may take around 3-4 hours. Upon arrival in Kpalimé, you can find a local taxi or a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to Parc Sarakawa. The ride from Kpalimé to the park will cost approximately 2,000 CFA francs and takes about 30 minutes.
