Car
If you're driving, start in Caroni and head southwest on Caroni Savannah Road (Route 5). Follow this road for about 4 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the Uriah Butler Highway (Route 2) towards San Juan. Continue on this highway for about 3 kilometers. Take the exit for the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (Route 3) and keep left to merge onto this highway. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, take the exit towards San Juan. Continue straight until you reach the San Juan area. The Caroni Boardwalk is located at JH38+RH in San Juan, just a short distance from the highway. Parking might be available nearby, but be prepared to pay for any parking fees that may apply.

To reach Caroni Boardwalk via public transport, first find a maxibus (minibus) heading towards San Juan from Caroni. These buses typically leave from designated stops along Caroni Savannah Road. Pay the fare (usually around TT$5-10) when you board. Inform the driver of your destination, Caroni Boardwalk, or ask them to drop you off near San Juan. The journey should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in San Juan, you may need to walk a short distance (about 10-15 minutes) to reach the boardwalk at JH38+RH. Follow the main road and look for signs directing you to the boardwalk.
