Getting There

    If you are driving from Couva, head east on the Southern Main Road (Route 2). Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with the Uriah Butler Highway. Take the first exit to merge onto the Uriah Butler Highway (Route 1) towards Chaguanas. After approximately 5 km, exit onto the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (Route 2) towards Arima. Continue for about 8 km. Take the exit for La Cuesa Rd. Follow La Cuesa Rd for about 2 km until you see the El Socorro Centre for Wildlife Conservation on your right.

    To reach El Socorro Centre via public transport, you can take a taxi or a bus from Couva. Look for a bus heading to Chaguanas along the Southern Main Road. Get off at the Chaguanas bus terminal.
