From the center of Couva, head south on Main Street towards the junction with the Southern Main Road. At the junction, turn left onto Southern Main Road. Continue walking for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the Couva Junction. Here, look for a local minibus heading towards Preysal or Corosal Road. Board the bus and inform the driver that you are heading to Carmelita Waterfalls.

Once on the minibus, it should take about 15-20 minutes to reach your destination. Keep an eye out for Corosal Road; the minibus will likely pass through the Preysal area. The driver will drop you off near the entrance to Corosal Road. From there, you will need to walk for about 5-10 minutes along Corosal Road, following the trail signs towards the waterfalls.
