From the center of Couva, head east on the main road towards the town of Preysal. As you walk, pass by local shops and small businesses. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Corosal Road. Turn left onto Corosal Road. Keep walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a small path leading off to the right, which will take you towards Carmelita Waterfalls.

From Couva, you can catch a local bus heading to Preysal. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Corosal Road. Once you get off, walk along Corosal Road heading east. After approximately 1 kilometer, look for a path that leads off to the right, which will lead you to the waterfalls.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Couva to take you directly to Carmelita Waterfalls. Provide the driver with the address: '9JVJ+CFC, Corosal Rd, Preysal'. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point to the entrance of the waterfalls.
