If you're traveling by car, start at Edith Falls by heading toward the main road. Drive south until you reach the intersection with the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (Highway 2). Turn left onto the highway and continue driving for approximately 25 kilometers. You'll pass through several small towns, so keep an eye out for signs. Eventually, you'll reach Port of Spain. Once in Port of Spain, follow signs toward the waterfront, where you will find the ferry terminal at the waterfront area. Park your car in one of the nearby parking facilities, as parking is available but may incur a fee. Note that you may have to pay a toll on the highway, so keep some cash handy.

To reach Nelson Island using public transportation, start at Edith Falls and take a local bus or a taxi to the nearest bus terminal. From there, you can catch a bus heading toward Port of Spain. The journey may take around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Port of Spain, disembark at the main bus terminal and make your way to the waterfront area. Look for the ferry terminal, where you can purchase a ticket for the ferry to Nelson Island.
