Car
If you are driving from Maracas Bay, start on Maracas Bay Road. Head southeast towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the North Coast Road (also known as the Windward Road). Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Cerro de las Cuevas y Maracas, which is marked by a small sign. Parking is available nearby. Be prepared for some rough terrain as you approach the trailhead.

Public Transportation
From Maracas Bay, you can take a taxi or a minibus heading towards Port of Spain. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the North Coast Road entrance for Cerro de las Cuevas y Maracas. This should cost you around 10-20 TTD (Trinidad and Tobago Dollars). Once you get off, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to the trailhead, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to Cerro de las Cuevas y Maracas. Make sure to check with the minibus driver or locals for the best drop-off point.

If you find yourself already near the entrance of Cerro de las Cuevas y Maracas in Maracas Bay, you can also walk. Begin from the beach area and head towards the North Coast Road. The walk is about 1 kilometer and will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Follow the road until you see the entrance to the hiking trail. Be cautious of traffic, as the road can be busy.
