From Maracas Bay, head south on the North Coast Road (also known as the Maracas Bay Road). Continue driving for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the junction at the end of the road. Turn left onto the Priority Bus Route (also known as the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway). Follow this road for about 6 kilometers. You will see signs for Caura River; keep an eye out for the turn-off to the right. Follow the signs leading you towards the river, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the turn-off. Ensure to drive carefully as the road may have bends and local traffic.

To reach Caura River from Maracas Bay using public transportation, start by taking a 'maxi taxi' from Maracas Bay to Port of Spain. Look for maxi taxis that head to the city center. The fare is usually around TT$10-15. Once in Port of Spain, transfer to a maxi taxi heading towards Arima and ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for the Priority Bus Route.
