Car
If you are driving from Mayaro, take the Mayaro Main Road (A5) heading north. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the Turure Road. Turn left onto Turure Road. Follow this road for about 15 km until you reach Cumaca Road. Turn right onto Cumaca Road. After about 5 km, you will reach the parking area for Cumaca Falls (Turure Watersteps). Make sure to have cash for any parking fees that may apply.

Public Transportation
Catch a taxi or a maxi taxi from Mayaro to Rio Claro. These are usually found at designated taxi stands. Once in Rio Claro, you will need to take a local taxi or hire a private taxi to take you to Cumaca Road. Be sure to tell the driver your destination, Cumaca Falls (Turure Watersteps). The ride from Rio Claro to Cumaca Falls will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

After parking your vehicle or arriving by taxi, there is a short hike to reach Cumaca Falls. The trailhead is well-marked, and the hike is approximately 15-20 minutes along a scenic path through the forest. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water to stay hydrated.
