Car
If you are driving from the center of Mayaro, head east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction at the T intersection. Turn left onto the Southern Main Road (also known as the SS Erin Road) and follow the road for approximately 2 kilometers, passing through several local shops and residences. After about 2 kilometers, take a right turn onto the road marked for Mayaro Beach. Continue straight for another 1 kilometer until you reach the beach area. Look for parking spaces along the beach access road.
Public Transportation (Taxi or Minibus)
From the center of Mayaro, you can catch a taxi or minibus heading towards Mayaro Beach. Look for the transportation on Main Street near the local market. The fare is typically around TT$5 to TT$10 per person, depending on your negotiation skills. Once you get on, inform the driver that you are going to Mayaro Beach. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes. The driver will drop you off at the nearest access point to the beach.
Walking
If you are already in Mayaro and prefer to walk, start from the Main Street in the town center. Head east along Main Street until you reach the Southern Main Road. Turn left and walk for about 2 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards Mayaro Beach. Follow the signs, and after about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at the beach. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes, as the walk may take around 30-40 minutes.
