If you are in Princes Town, you can easily find a taxi by walking to the main road, where taxis frequently pass. Look for a taxi that is headed towards Chaguanas or San Fernando. Once you are in the taxi, inform the driver that you want to go to Caroni Swamp. The driver will take you along the Southern Main Road towards Chaguanas and then connect to the Uriah Butler Highway. After a short drive, you will reach the entrance to Caroni Swamp.

From Princes Town, walk to the main bus terminal located at the center of the town. Look for buses heading towards San Fernando or Chaguanas. Board the bus and enjoy the ride until you reach the San Fernando bus terminal. From there, you can catch another bus heading towards Caroni. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Caroni Swamp. Once you disembark, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the entrance of Caroni Swamp.

If you are feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, you could walk towards the Caroni Swamp. Start from the center of Princes Town and make your way to the Southern Main Road. Head north along the Southern Main Road until you reach the intersection with the Uriah Butler Highway. At this point, you will need to take a left and continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers. Watch for signs directing you towards Caroni Swamp as you approach the area. It is a long walk, so make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes.
