Walking
From the Sangre Grande town center, head west on the main road towards the bus terminal. Once you reach the terminal, look for a minibus heading to Port of Spain. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving in Port of Spain, disembark at the bus terminal and exit onto the main road. From there, you can either take a taxi or walk. If walking, head south on Charlotte Street, then turn right onto Frederick Street. Continue straight until you reach Circular Road. The Royal Botanic Gardens will be on your left.

Start at the Sangre Grande bus terminal and board a bus heading to Port of Spain. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Port of Spain bus terminal, exit and find a taxi or a local bus that goes towards the Royal Botanic Gardens. If you choose a taxi, simply tell the driver 'Royal Botanic Gardens, Circular Road.' If taking a local bus, look for one that indicates it goes towards the Botanical Gardens area, and get off at Circular Road.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Sangre Grande to the Royal Botanic Gardens. You can ask your hotel or a local resident to assist you in finding a taxi service.
