    From Siparia, head north on the SS Erin Road towards the town of Penal. Drive for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction with the Southern Main Road (also known as the SS Erin Road). Turn right onto the Southern Main Road and continue driving until you reach the intersection with the Naparima/Mayaro Road. Turn left onto Naparima/Mayaro Road. Continue straight for approximately 30 minutes. You will see signs for Las Lapas Lookout. Follow the signs until you reach Blanchisseuse Road and Lopinot Trail, where the lookout is located. Parking is usually available nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    From Siparia, you can take a taxi or a maxi taxi heading to San Fernando. Once in San Fernando, switch to a maxi taxi or a bus that goes towards Blanchisseuse. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Blanchisseuse Road and Lopinot Trail junction for Las Lapas Lookout. The total cost for the taxi from Siparia to San Fernando should be around TT$10-15, and the fare from San Fernando to Blanchisseuse may be around TT$15-20. Be prepared for some waiting time between transfers.
