Car
If you are driving from anywhere in St. Patrick, head northwest towards the main road (Priority Bus Route). Follow the signs for San Fernando and the Southern Main Road. Continue straight for approximately 30 kilometers (about 30 minutes) until you reach the junction for the Trinidad ferry terminal. Take the exit towards the ferry terminal, where you can park your car. Note that parking fees may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Trinidad via public transport from St. Patrick, you can take a taxi or a minibus from any local taxi stand to San Fernando. The fare is generally around TT$20-30. Once in San Fernando, head to the terminal for the ferry service to Trinidad. Tickets for the ferry can be purchased at the terminal, and prices generally range from TT$50-100 depending on the class of service. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour.
Ferry
After reaching San Fernando, board the ferry to Trinidad. Make sure to check the ferry schedule ahead of time, as times can vary. It’s advisable to arrive at least 30 minutes early. Keep your ticket safe, as it will be collected on board. Enjoy the scenic views of the coastline during your ferry ride.
