Start your journey from Toco Lighthouse by heading west on Toco Main Road. Continue straight for about 18 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Churchill Roosevelt Highway. Turn left to merge onto the highway heading toward Port of Spain. Stay on the highway for approximately 30 kilometers, following signs for Port of Spain. Once you reach the city, take the exit for Wrightson Road, then turn right onto Zoo Road. The Emperor Valley Zoo will be on your left. Parking is available on-site, and there is no entrance fee to park.

From Toco Lighthouse, you can take a taxi or a minibus to Port of Spain. Look for a taxi stand or minibus service near Toco Main Road. The fare to Port of Spain is usually around 25-30 TTD. Once you arrive in Port of Spain, head to the bus terminal and take a taxi or a local bus to Zoo Road. The fare for a taxi from Port of Spain to Emperor Valley Zoo is about 20 TTD.
