Getting There

    From Chaguanas, head towards the main road, which is the Southern Main Road. Walk towards the east until you reach the Chaguanas Junction. At the junction, take a left onto the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway. Continue walking until you reach the Northbound Bus Terminal. From there, take a bus that goes to Port of Spain (look for buses labeled 'Port of Spain' or 'POS'). Upon arrival in Port of Spain, disembark at the bus terminal beside the Queen's Park Savannah. From the terminal, walk towards Circular Road which is adjacent to the Savannah. The Royal Botanic Gardens is located along Circular Road, a short walk from the Savannah.

    Start at the Chaguanas Bus Terminal. Look for a bus heading to Port of Spain. The buses are frequent, so you shouldn't have to wait long. Once you arrive in Port of Spain, get off at the terminal next to the Queen's Park Savannah. From there, walk towards Circular Road, located just beside the Savannah. The Royal Botanic Gardens will be a short walking distance along Circular Road.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Chaguanas. Tell the driver you want to go to the Royal Botanic Gardens on Circular Road in Port of Spain. The ride may take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right in front of the gardens.
