Car
If you are driving from the center of Matmata, head south on Route 12. After approximately 10 km, follow the signs towards Tamezret. Keep an eye out for the GVP7+QR6 location on your GPS, which is the exact address of the museum. Once you reach Tamezret, the Musée Berbère will be on your right side. Parking is usually available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Musée Berbère using public transportation, take a shared taxi (known as 'louage') from Matmata to Tamezret. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes and costs around 3-5 Tunisian Dinars. Once you arrive in Tamezret, ask the driver to drop you off at GVP7+QR6, or simply walk in the direction of the museum, which is located about a 5-minute walk from the taxi drop-off point.
Walking
If you are already in Tamezret, you can easily walk to the Musée Berbère. From the main square or any point in the village, head towards the GVP7+QR6 location. It is a short walk of about 10 minutes. Look for local signs directing you to the museum as you approach.
