Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Nefta, which is approximately 30 km from Chebika Oasis. Head southeast on Route P2 towards As-Sabikah. After about 15 km, you will see a sign for Chebika. Turn left onto a smaller road that leads directly to Chebika Oasis. The last few kilometers will be on a winding mountain road with stunning views. Ensure to watch for signs indicating the Oasis, as they will guide you to the parking area.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Nefta to As-Sabikah. The bus service operates regularly, and tickets cost around 3-5 Tunisian Dinars. Once you arrive in As-Sabikah, you will need to hire a local taxi or use a ride-sharing service to reach Chebika Oasis, which is about 7 km away. Taxi fares should be negotiated beforehand, and expect to pay around 10-15 Tunisian Dinars for the trip.

Walking

If you are already in the vicinity of Chebika and prefer walking, there are well-marked trails leading to the Oasis from nearby villages. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and water, as the terrain can be rugged. The hike from As-Sabikah to Chebika takes about 1-2 hours, depending on your pace, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and palm groves.
