If you're driving from a central location in The Djerid, head south towards Kebili on Route 3. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction near Al-Mitlawi. Look for signs indicating Thelja or Al-Mitlawi. Turn onto the local road towards Al-Mitlawi, and then follow the signs until you reach Thelja. The drive should take around 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Thelja by public transportation, start at the main bus station in Kebili. Look for buses heading towards Al-Mitlawi or nearby towns. The bus ride to Al-Mitlawi takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Al-Mitlawi, you may need to take a taxi or walk, depending on the distance to Thelja. It is advisable to ask the bus driver or locals for the best drop-off point that is closest to Thelja.
