Walking
If you are starting from the center of Sidi Bou Said, head towards the main street (Avenue Habib Bourguiba). Walk along this street until you reach the intersection with Avenue du 14 Janvier. Turn left onto Avenue du 14 Janvier and continue walking. You will pass several cafes and shops. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Phare de Sidi Bou Saïd. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will come to a steep hill. Ascend this hill, and you will soon see the lighthouse in the distance. Follow the path until you reach the base of Phare de Sidi Bou Saïd.

From anywhere in Sidi Bou Said, locate the nearest bus stop. You can take bus number 100 (which connects Sidi Bou Said with Tunis). Board the bus and ride it for approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Carthage - Amilcar'. From there, it's a 20-minute walk uphill to the lighthouse. Follow the signs for Phare de Sidi Bou Saïd, making sure to take the scenic route along the coastline for beautiful views.
