We were very impressed with our recent twenty two day excursion to Türkiye. Agate Travel seemed to have all the bases covered and the itinerary was brilliant ... everything we set out to see we visited and because our guide was so first rate we saw additional sites and enjoyed additional experiences. We will be highly recommending Agate Travel, along with our Travel Consultant: Amy to all our friends and family especially with regards to the help and guidance Amy provided prior to the tour and of her continued monitoring and assistance whilst we were actually travelling around Türkiye. What impressed us the most I think was the speed and punctuality of her responses ... Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and as a result the vacation was what we expected it to be, being well prepared and problem-free. Everything we requested or changed was attended to immediately with the minimum of fuss and/or delay. She was efficient, courteous and professional throughout so thank you Amy ... Thank you so very much. We must also make mention here of our guide who accompanied us for the entire duration of the trip ... KC was outstanding and quite possibly the best guide we have ever had. His knowledge of the sites we visited and of Türkiye's long, diverse and colourful history, its mysteries and legends, and of the plethora of cultures and civilisations which have inhabited this land was encyclopaedic. We learned so much about Türkiye and its people on this trip thanks to KC's teaching skills, enthusiasm and drive as well as his guiding duties ... It made the holiday a truly fulfilling and memorable experience and at the end we were sad to leave the country and to say goodbye to our modest and genial friend KC. He is truly a wonderful ambassador for Türkiye We had several different drivers but one was with us for a protracted period...his name was Mustafa and he too, like KC wasn't only efficient and professional but also a gentle, kind and friendly man. A wonderful time all round. The hotels were all of a good standard and the staff were all helpful and pleasant ... the hotel staff in Istanbul were particularly friendly and welcoming. We probably enjoyed the Ruin Adalia in Antalya the best. We will almost certainly be taking another holiday with Agate Travel.

Great tour with a top guide. Wrong meeting point on Viator

The tour was excellent. Hüseyin speaks perfect English, showed us many highlights, and explained a lot of background information about Ankara, the people, and Turkey. Walking route very pleasant, incline to the castle manageable. No complaints. Unfortunately, the wrong meeting point was noted on Viator (new parliament building). However, we were able to agree on a new meeting point (old parliament building) with Hüseyin via WhatsApp and arrived by taxi a few minutes late.
