Walking
From Kavaklidere, start by heading east on the main road, Atatürk Boulevard (Atatürk Bulvarı). Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Meşrutiyet Street (Meşrutiyet Caddesi). Turn right onto Meşrutiyet Street. Keep walking for another 500 meters until you reach the point where Meşrutiyet Street intersects with Anadolu Boulevard (Anadolu Bulvarı). Turn left onto Anadolu Boulevard and walk for about 200 meters. You will then see the signs for Ankara Castle (Ankara Kalesi) on your right. Follow the signs, and it will lead you up towards the castle entrance.

If you prefer to take public transport, find the nearest bus stop in Kavaklidere. Board bus number 216 or 282 in the direction of Altındağ. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Disembark at the 'Kale' bus stop. From there, follow the signs leading to Ankara Castle, which is a short walk uphill. Please note that the bus fare is approximately 7 TL (Turkish Lira) and you will need anankaraKart to pay for your fare.
