Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the city center of Trabzon. Head southwest on the D-100 highway towards Rize and continue along the coast. After approximately 90 km, you will reach the border with Georgia. Follow the signs to Batumi, crossing the border at the Sarp Border Gate. After crossing into Georgia, continue on the E70 highway. Follow the signs to Batumi city center, and once you reach Batumi, take the first major right onto Tbel-Abuseridze Street. The Black Sea Arch is located at 18 Tbel-Abuseridze St in Batumi. Parking options are available nearby for a fee of approximately 5 GEL per hour.

  • Bus

    For those opting for public transportation, take a bus from Trabzon to Batumi. Buses depart regularly from the Trabzon bus terminal and the journey takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. The ticket price is usually between 30 to 50 Turkish Lira. Once you arrive at the Batumi bus terminal, you can take a local minibus (Marshrutka) or a taxi to reach Tbel-Abuseridze Street. The fare for a minibus is approximately 1 GEL.
