If you are traveling by car, the easiest way to reach Silistar Beach is to drive towards the border of Bulgaria. From the main cities in the Black Sea Region, such as Trabzon or Rize, take the D010 highway towards Hopa, which will lead you to the border crossing at Sarp. Once you cross into Bulgaria, follow the signs towards Ahtopol. From Ahtopol, take the road towards Silistar Beach, which is approximately 8 kilometers away. The beach is located in a natural park area, so be prepared for a short drive on a bumpy road. Keep in mind that parking is available near the beach, but it may have a small fee, typically around 5-10 Bulgarian Lev (about $3-5).

For those using public transportation, start your journey from a major city like Trabzon or Rize. Take a bus to Hopa, which is a common route with multiple daily departures. Upon arriving in Hopa, you can find local minibuses (dolmuş) that head towards the Bulgarian border. Get off at the Sarp border crossing. After crossing into Bulgaria, you can catch a local bus heading to Ahtopol. Once in Ahtopol, you will need to take a taxi or a local dolmuş to reach Silistar Beach, which is about 8 kilometers away. Be sure to have some Bulgarian Lev handy for local transport fares.
