Public Bus
From the center of Canakkale, head to the main bus terminal located at the end of Cumhuriyet Caddesi. Look for the bus heading to Eceabat, which is the closest town to the Canakkale Martyrs Monument. The buses are frequent, running approximately every 30 minutes. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride along the Dardanelles Strait. After about 20-30 minutes, disembark at the Seddülbahir stop. From there, it’s a short walk along Seddülbahir Köyü Yolu (the road leading to the monument). Follow the signs for the Canakkale Martyrs Monument, which is approximately a 1-kilometer walk. The monument is visible from a distance, so you can enjoy the view as you approach.

Walking Tour
If you prefer to walk from the center of Canakkale, start at the waterfront promenade (Kordon). Head south along the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Eceabat; the ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Eceabat, exit the ferry and head towards the main road leading to Seddülbahir. You can either walk along the main road or catch a local minibus or dolmuş (shared taxi) that goes towards Seddülbahir. The monument is located about 3 kilometers from Eceabat, and walking will take approximately 45 minutes. Make sure to follow signs directing you towards the Canakkale Martyrs Monument.

Bicycle Rental
For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle in Canakkale. There are several rental shops near the waterfront. Once you have your bike, head out of the city towards Eceabat along the coastal road. The ride is about 7 kilometers and takes around 30-40 minutes. Follow signs to Seddülbahir. After reaching Seddülbahir, continue on Seddülbahir Köyü Yolu; the monument will be on your left. This route will allow you to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Dardanelles.
