From Canakkale city center, head to the main bus terminal (Otogar) located near the waterfront. You can either walk there or take a local dolmuş (minibus) to the terminal. Once at the bus terminal, look for buses heading to Eceabat. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you are heading to Havuzlar Şehitliği ve Anıtı, as it is a well-known landmark. Get off at the stop closest to Kilidülbahir, and from there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the monument. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

Ferry and Walking
From Canakkale, you can take a ferry from the Canakkale ferry terminal to Eceabat. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Eceabat, exit the ferry terminal and walk towards the main road (Dardanelles Street). Turn left and continue walking until you reach the bus stop for local buses heading to Kilidülbahir. Ride the bus for a few stops until you get to Kilidülbahir, then follow the signs to Havuzlar Şehitliği ve Anıtı, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to walk from Canakkale, you can take the coastal route along the Dardanelles. Start at the waterfront and head towards the Eceabat direction. This route will take you through some scenic areas along the coast. It is approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour walk depending on your pace. Be sure to stay on the path and follow any signage that points towards Kilidülbahir. Once you reach the Kilidülbahir area, ask locals for directions to Havuzlar Şehitliği ve Anıtı, as it is a prominent site.
