From the center of Göreme, start by walking towards the main road, which is known as the Göreme-Nevşehir road (D302). Head south on this road for about 1.5 kilometers. Upon reaching the intersection, take a left turn to continue on the D302. After approximately 5 kilometers, look for a sign directing you to Kaymaklı on your left. Follow this road for another 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Kaymaklı.

From Göreme, you can take a local bus heading towards Nevşehir. These buses can be found at the main bus station in Göreme. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to go to Kaymaklı. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. The bus will drop you off at the main road near Kaymaklı. From there, you may need to walk a short distance of about 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of the Kaymaklı Underground City.
