Car

If you're traveling by car, head towards the town of Kaş, which is approximately 30 km from Patara. From Kaş, drive west on the D400 highway. After about 10 km, you'll see signs for Patara. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance of Patara Ruins, which is located in Gelemiş village. Note that there is a parking area near the entrance, and a small fee (around 20-30 Turkish Lira) may be required for parking.

Public Transport

To reach Patara Ruins via public transport, take a minibus (dolmuş) from Kaş to the village of Gelemiş. The dolmuş leaves from the main bus station in Kaş and operates regularly throughout the day. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Gelemiş, you can walk to the entrance of Patara Ruins, which is about 1.5 km from the village center. Be prepared for a short walk, and ensure you have some local currency for the entrance fee, which is typically around 50 Turkish Lira.

Taxi
