Car
If you are driving, start from Mersin city center. Take the D400 highway heading east towards Tarsus. After about 30 kilometers, exit onto the D750 road towards Silifke. Continue on the D750 for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the town of Erdemli. Keep following signs towards 'Göksu Nehri' (Göksu River) as you enter Erdemli. The river is located just a few kilometers from the town center, and you will find several access points along the riverbanks.
Public Transportation
From Mersin, head to the Mersin bus terminal (otogar). Take a bus to Erdemli, which leaves frequently throughout the day. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes and costs around 15-20 TL. Once in Erdemli, you can take a local dolmuş (minibus) or taxi to reach the Göksu River. The dolmuş service runs regularly to different river access points and costs about 5 TL per person.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Mersin to Göksu River. This option is more expensive, costing approximately 200-300 TL for a one-way trip. The taxi will take you directly to the river, and you can negotiate the return fare with the driver.
