Getting There

Walking
Start from the main square in Goreme, where the bus station and several shops are located. Head south on the main road (Atatürk Street) until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto Uzundere Street and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several local shops and cafes on your right. After reaching the end of Uzundere Street, continue straight onto the path that leads to Avanos. Follow the signs towards Avanos for about 3.5 kilometers. Once you enter Avanos, look for Dereyamanlı Street. Turn right onto Dereyamanlı Cd. The Güray Müze will be on your left side, just a short walk away.

Public Transport (Dolmuş)
From Goreme, head to the main bus station where dolmuş (shared minibus) services are available. Look for the dolmuş that says 'Avanos' or 'Avanos merkez'. The ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Avanos, get off at the main street (Çavuşin - Avanos Road). From there, walk straight until you reach Dereyamanlı Street, which is a short walk ahead. Turn left onto Dereyamanlı Cd., and the Güray Müze will be on your left side.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Goreme. Start from the center of Goreme and head south on Atatürk Street. Follow the same route as walking, heading towards Uzundere Street. Continue on the path towards Avanos, which is approximately 4.5 kilometers away. Once you arrive in Avanos, look for Dereyamanlı Street and turn right. The Güray Müze will be on your left side. Enjoy the scenic ride along the way!
