  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are near Taksim Square, take the Taksim Metro Line (M2) to Şişli-Mecidiyeköy station. From there, transfer to the Metrobus line (34) towards Avcılar. Get off at the Topkapı station. Once you arrive, look for the tram stop nearby and board the T1 tram line towards Bağcılar. Get off at the Cibali stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Balat. Head southwest on Cibali Street, then turn left onto Balat Street, which will lead you into the heart of Balat.

  • Walking

    If you are in the historic Sultanahmet area, start by walking towards the Galata Bridge. Cross the bridge to reach the Karaköy district. From Karaköy, walk towards Tophane and follow the signs to reach the tram station (T1) at Tophane. Board the tram in the direction of Bağcılar and get off at the Cibali stop. Once you get off, it's a short walk to Balat, heading southwest on Cibali Street, then turning left onto Balat Street.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    If you are near Eminönü, take bus number 28 towards Edirnekapı. Get off at the Balat stop. From there, you can walk to the main attractions in Balat. Just head south on Balat Street to explore the colorful houses and local cafes.
