Getting There

• Ferry

  To reach Galatasaray Adası, start by making your way to the Beşiktaş Ferry Terminal. If you are in the Taksim area, you can take the funicular down to Kabataş and then walk to the Beşiktaş terminal. From there, catch a ferry heading towards the islands; the ferry will take you directly to Galatasaray Adası. The ride is approximately 15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Bosphorus.

• Public Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 28 or 30D towards Beşiktaş. Once you arrive at the Beşiktaş bus station, follow the signs to the ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to Galatasaray Adası, which is part of the ferry route. Make sure to check the ferry schedule, as they run frequently during the day.

• Walking

  If you’re already in the Beşiktaş area, you can walk to Galatasaray Adası. Head towards the waterfront along the main road. You will find the ferry terminal on your left. Once at the terminal, take the ferry to the island. The walk to the terminal should take about 10-15 minutes.

• Taxi/Private Ride

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi to the Beşiktaş Ferry Terminal. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Beşiktaş İskelesi' (the ferry terminal). Once you arrive, take the ferry to Galatasaray Adası. The taxi ride will typically take around 15-30 minutes depending on traffic.
