Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are starting from Taksim Square, take the M2 metro line towards Yenikapı. Transfer at Şişli-Mecidiyeköy station to the M1B line and head towards Atatürk Airport. Get off at Aksaray station and transfer to the Tram T1 line towards Kabataş. Get off at the Eminönü stop. From Eminönü, walk to the Eminönü ferry terminal and take a ferry to Üsküdar. Once you arrive at Üsküdar, walk towards Selimiye Mosque, which is about a 15-minute walk straight ahead.

  • Bus

    From Sultanahmet, take the bus number 29 towards Üsküdar. Get off at the Selimiye stop. The Grand Selimiye Mosque is located just a short walk from the bus stop. Head down Selimiye Kışla Street, and you will see the mosque on your left.

  • Ferry

    If you are in the Karaköy area, walk to the Karaköy ferry terminal and take a ferry to Üsküdar. Once you arrive in Üsküdar, the Grand Selimiye Mosque is about a 15-minute walk. Exit the ferry terminal and head straight along the coast until you reach Selimiye Kışla Street, then turn left to find the mosque.
