Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Sultanahmet area, the Fountain Sultan Ahmed III is very close to popular attractions. From the Hagia Sophia, head towards the Sultanahmet Square (Sultanahmet Meydanı). Walk straight towards the Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Camii). The fountain is located just to the left of the entrance to the Topkapi Palace, right in the square. It should take you approximately 5 minutes on foot.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    If you are further away, you can take the T1 tram line towards Kabataş. Board the tram at any station along the line, such as Taksim or Karaköy. Get off at the Sultanahmet stop. Upon exiting the tram, walk towards the Sultanahmet Square. The Fountain Sultan Ahmed III is located to the left near the entrance of Topkapi Palace. This journey will take around 30 minutes depending on your starting point.

  • Walking from the Grand Bazaar

    Start at the Grand Bazaar (Kapalıçarşı). Exit the bazaar and head towards Beyazıt Square. From there, walk straight down the road until you reach the main road, then turn left.
